The Met and TfL have worked very successfully in formal partnership since 2002.

The MPS has centralised its Command and Control function as part of the MetChange. At the moment TfL and the MPS are jointly working through the implications of this. Until this is resolved TfL is temporarily withholding payment of this element of the service, which makes up a very small proportion of TfL's overall payment to the MPS.
