Can you provide me with more details about your tailored support, working with youth unemployment charities, for young Londoners that volunteer with Team London? How will you be measuring the success of this programme?

Answered By:
The Mayor

In the first instance, Team London has partnered with the Mayor's Fund for London's 'Young London Working' programme.

The agreement with Young London Working dictates that any young unemployed person, aged 18-25, who has logged 20 hours volunteering will be eligible for 1-to-1 case worker support in finding employment.

Team London will measure the success of the programme by tracking:

-         Number of referrals to YLW

-         Number of referrals to YLW that result in an employment outcome

-         Number of referrals to YLW that result in 6 months sustained employment outcome.

Once Team London has tested the model with Young London Working, we may expand the model to work with other organisations.
