LU services already operate for 20 hours each day and engineering trains regularly operate overnight. As such, it is expected that the potential for disturbance from night services on Fridays and Saturdays will be limited.

Electric traction motors on passenger trains produce relatively little noise in comparison to engineering trains, so the potential for disturbance and idling is minimised.
