Answer for Mini-Holland Funding

The Mayor

TfL and Ealing, Merton, Richmond and Newham have been working to further develop specific proposals from their mini Holland bids including Stratford gyratory Newham where TfL has supported this with £730k this financial year for feasibility, modelling and concept design and a potentially a similar amount in 2016/17.  Consultation on this project will commence in the Summer of 2016.  Merton Council has decided to focus attention on Morden as opposed to Wimbledon due to the Crossrail 2 proposals and have submitted a Major Scheme application.

TfL is currently assessing this bid and will announce whether it can be supported in December, when the Mayor announces the LIP funding for 2016/17.  As work develops on the remaining two boroughs, TfL will look to support proposals that bring transformational improvements for cyclists and town centres.
