TfL currently has 36 vending pitches across London and is seeking to double this number over the next two to three years. These pitches are a great place for new small businesses to flourish, without tenants entering into the financial burden of a permanent shop. All new pitches will be made available to the market and TfL expects strong demand.

Each location is unique and space is allocated on a case by case basis subject to the operational needs of each location. A pitch can only be made available if the space doesn't affect the operation of the network or impact on any planned changes or developments. TfL has looked into the option of a new pitch at Edgware Road but, unfortunately, it was not possible at that location.
