Question

I have been approached by a group of small businesses situated at south end of the Edgware Road, near Marble Arch, who are complaining about overhanging trees covering their shop fronts.  Can l request that TfL urgently arrange for the trees to be pruned?

Tree pruning along Edgware Road is already underway, focusing initially on high priority locations where trees are touching buildings or businesses for example.

This type of work is seasonal and is routinely undertaken while trees are dormant through the winter months.  The pruning will continue over the coming months in a planned approach designed to minimise disruption to road and footway users and TfL will provide advance notice to businesses and residents in the area where impacted.
