The OPDC has not undertaken any analysis of financial and environmental cost savings in terminating HS2 at Old Oak Common rather than Euston. This is because HS2 must serve Euston to realise its full regeneration potential for homes and jobs in London and along the route, as well as ensuring that passengers are split between two HS2 stations thereby spreading demand and minimising journey times.
