Independent advisors are recruited to provide independent advice, on a variety of issues, depending on the issue concerned the ability to be representative of London's communities may or may not be a requirement.

Independent advisors are recruited through an open recruitment and interview process through which their suitability, knowledge, skills and attributes are matched against the particular Advisor specification.
