The Gospel Oak to Barking line electrification is a complex project which requires extensive work including lowering track and upgrading bridges. In order to accomplish this, some line closures are inevitable.

Network Rail is currently finalising the engineering plans and a comprehensive customer communication plan will be rolled out as soon as more details become available. TfL will work closely with Network Rail and London Overground Rail Operations Ltd to keep passenger disruption to a minimum.
