London Underground has not undertaken a study into how many people live adjacent to its assets around the network, but recognises that a huge benefit of the Tube is its convenience and it is evident that many Londoners want to live close to good transport links.

Since plans for Night Tube were first announced, TfL has been engaging and working closely with stakeholders across London, including residents, to understand their concerns and minimise any negative impacts of the Night Tube, while also meeting Londoners' demands for extended night-time transport services.
