The Emirates Air Line opened on 28 June 2012. Between April 2012 and June 2015 total marketing and advertising expenditure for the Emirates Air Line totals £701,942. This is comprised of spend per financial year as follows:

2012-13: £146,809.11

2013-14: £218,728.18

2014-15: £272,786.63

April 2015-June 2016: £63,618.94

Planned expenditure for the remainder of the Financial Year 2015/16: c. £125,000.

Over the last three financial years, revenue for the Emirates Air Line has exceeded costs, including marketing as well as operating costs. Passenger growth, supported by our marketing and advertising spend, continues to show significant increases.
