Islington has the highest arrest rate of London boroughs from the practice of stop & search at 22.6%. What can other boroughs learn from their lead? How is best practice of this procedure being shared effectively across the MPS?

The overall arrest rate across the Met has reached 20.5%, demonstrating that the intelligence led approach to stop and search continues to drive improvement.  Similarly the outcome rate has risen from 14% to 32%, meaning 1 in 3 searches identify criminality.
