Given the wasted space and the extra congestion and journey delays that will result, why are you proposing to further weaken car parking standards in London?

The London Plan takes an integrated approach to movement and land use around London, recognising that while public transport must be the primary mode and will generally be associated with higher density development, there are some journeys, neighbourhoods and forms of development where other modes will be important, including cars. It is realistic and responsible to plan for this.
