The immediate priority for enhancing connectivity at Old Oak Common is to create new connections to the existing Overground network. Following a public consultation last year, and extensive technical analysis, TfL have decided to progress the option which would see two Overground stations delivered at Old Oak Common (Option C).

The Dudding Hill line is currently used by freight trains only and there are no plans to introduce passenger services on this corridor. The proposals that we have identified for two stations on the Overground network would be compatible with the provision of future 8-car services on the Dudding Hill Line, were a case to be made for the re-introduction of passenger services on the line.
