Can you tell me how much the highest remunerated employee was paid, including all expenses and other benefits but excluding pensions, in each of the GLA group bodies and for each of 2013-14 and 2014-15?

GLA response

The highest paid member of staff, who is the Head of Paid Service and also an Executive Director, was paid £166,650 for the financial year 2013-14. This information is published in the GLA Annual Statement of Accounts;

For the year ending 31 March 2015 (2014-15), the highest paid member of staff remains the Head of Paid Service who is also an Executive Director.  His salary at 31 March is £167,567 per annum.

LFEPA response

LFEPA's highest remunerated employee was paid as follows:

2013-14

£169,623 plus £632.67 expenses, totaling £170,255.67.

2014-15

£169,623 plus £150.50* expenses, totaling £169,773.50 (as at 31 January 2015).

MOPAC response

The highest remunerated employee in 2013-14, excluding pension contributions, earned £165,000.  Expenses claimed during this period totalled £169.10.

For 2014-15, the highest remunerated employee, excluding pension contributions, earned £165,000.  Expenses claimed to date during this period total £120.90.

Expenses for Sir Peter Hendy in 2013-14 totalled £6,566.85

The Transport for London Annual Report and Statement of Accounts 2014/15 report will be submitted to the Transport for London Board in July 2015 and a similar publication detailing remuneration will be published shortly thereafter.

There were no expenses claims made in 2013-14 by the highest remunerated employee (Chief Executive).

In 2014-15, there were two separate individuals holding the position of Chief Exec. The former made one expense claim for £160 and the latter made three expense claims totalling £354.80.
