It is proposed that 490 members of London Underground roles will now be part time at around 16 hours a week and 897 full-time roles are to be cut. What are TfL going to do to protect the positions of current full-time employees to ensure they are not forced into part-time hours?

The proposals to modernise the Tube include guarantees to staff that there will be no compulsory redundancies, pay and hours will be protected, and nobody will have to move more than 30 minutes from their current area unless they choose to do so.

Staff can request a change to part-time hours or new roles to staff Night Tube, if they wish, but nobody will be forced into these roles.
