With the Office for Budget Responsibility forecasting that, on some measures, government expenditure will fall to levels not seen since the 1930s given current spending plans, what impact do you believe this would have in London, particularly with regards to supporting vital infrastructure, public services and employment?

It is too early to judge the general impact of future spending decisions that a future government will need to take. I will ensure that we present clearly London's specific needs in the next Parliament in the context of a growing population and successful economy that generates surplus tax revenue for the rest of the country.
