Question

A recent Inside Housing survey found that, nationally, 35.5% of council workers in homelessness teams felt their employer has reduced their ability to provide emergency accommodation to rough sleepers if temperatures fall below zero degrees. Will you investigate this issue with the London boroughs?

I already work closely with the London Boroughs on this issue.  I also commission a pan-London severe weather service, which opens in the event of sub-zero temperatures on three or more consecutive nights, to complement local provision.
