The City Centred campaign for greater devolution to cities and city regions, which has brought together London’s government and the Core Cities Group, continues to move forward following the Scottish referendum, taking advantage of the momentum towards devolution. The case for the devolution of property taxes, as set out in the London Finance Commission report, is regularly made to ministers, government representatives, Parliamentarians and others and we continue to push for the inclusion of a commitment to city devolution in all the main parties’ 2015 general election manifestos.
