I will be publishing my formal response to the London Health Commission in early 2015.

The Further Alterations to the London Plan (FALP) already provides stronger planning policy and support to local authorities to manage over concentration of particular uses such as hot food takeaways and betting shops. More detailed guidance for boroughs on working with existing takeaway businesses to make healthier food is included in the GLA Takeaways Toolkit.
