TfL will assess all bus priority bids based on evidence of improved bus journey times and reliability. The allocation of these funds will be prioritised towards the delivery of these benefits.

Separately, TfL offers external parties the option of purchasing new signs, for example through secured S106 funding for London boroughs.

Further, "digital sign" subscription has enabled third-parties to display on-screen real-time bus arrival information at locations such as shopping centres, schools, libraries and health centres. TfL is also working to develop a means of displaying real-time bus arrival information in Bus Stations and interchange environments. This is currently being tested at selected locations across London."
