Training related to domestic violence and other related issues is embedded at various stages of officer training and ongoing professional development. As such it is not possible to calculate a percentage or proportion of time. However, as an example, of the kind of training provided, there are modules on domestic violence within foundation training (including building on learning required to pass the Certificate in Knowledge of Policing). In addition, 1 of the 13 continuing training days covers immersive learning centred on domestic violence and one of the five hours in Professional Development Days focuses on Domestic Abuse.
