I awarded Waltham Forest Mini-Holland status in March 2014. Since then Waltham Forest Council has been developing the proposals set out in its bid.

In September 2014, Waltham Forest submitted a business case for its Mini-Holland programme to TfL, providing further detail on scheme selection, costs and benefits.  The borough is also currently consulting on two Mini-Holland projects: the Pembroke Village and Ruckholt Road pilot schemes, both of which will be implemented by June 2015.

Waltham Forest is proceeding with designs of flagship schemes forming part of the Mini Holland project, such as Lea Bridge Road cycle route. TfL is working with the Borough to bring forward funding into this financial year (2014/15) to enable further progress on this important scheme.

The Borough is also taking forward their cycle parking proposals, with the first phases of residential cycle parking and cycle hubs to be implemented by March 2015.
