All documentation received as part of an application is linked to the applicant's electronic record. Once these documents are no longer required they are deleted in accordance with the requirements of the Data Protection Act. Medical information pertinent to licensing is typically retained until the next medical is required.  A copy of the first medical received is also retained for 7 years after the applicant ceases to be licensed as a record of the applicant's medical fitness at the point of licensing.
