TfL is working closely with the London Borough of Sutton on a range of transport projects that will improve the services provided in the Borough and the quality of the public realm. This includes the Sutton Station LIP major scheme, ongoing reviews and changes to bus services in the borough and changes to the Thameslink services that serve the Borough.

In addition, the London Boroughs of Sutton and Merton recently completed a public consultation on a potential tram extension in the borough. TfL is currently analysing the results of this consultation in the context of a good business case and the identification of substantial third party funding.
