There are without doubt lessons to be learned from the tribunal's findings. To this end the MPS is considering the impact of the tribunal's recommendations and the recent decision of the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) to investigate and how they can best take this forward. It is very important that police officers and the public have confidence in the process.
