It is outside the scope of my duties to regulate health services provision across London and its boroughs.  However, the London Health Board, which I chair, is looking at mental health as a pan-London issue, and it is particularly focusing on fostering resilience amongst London's adolescents.

I also set up the independent London Health Commission, led by Professor the Lord Darzi, which is looking at how London's health and healthcare, including the important issue of mental health, can be improved for the benefit of the population. I look forward to receiving the Commission's recommendations in the autumn.
