While the delivery of health services is not within my remit as Mayor, I expect all Londoners to have access to high quality services in any event of increased need.

Public Health England (PHE) is advising health professionals in London to be aware of the symptoms of Ebola amongst people returning from West Africa, and the appropriate management. Our partners in PHE will continue to monitor the situation in the UK and abroad.

I am advised by PHE that the risk to the UK resident population from Ebola remains 'very low'.
