Over the last four years, TfL has spent £4.2 million on aviation related work activities. TfL has conducted invaluable research and analysis to inform the continuing debate, both relating to the severe consequences of Heathrow's expansion and the potential benefits of a new hub airport at a number of potential locations.

I remain committed to protecting the needs and interests of Londoners on aviation, an important issue which impacts upon almost every one of my statutory responsibilities. These include London's planning, housing, economic development and regeneration, transport and public health.
