As your question recognises, through the roads modernisation programme, TfL is overhauling many prominent gyratories in London to create more attractive places for people to live, work and visit. This includes Wandsworth Gyratory and Vauxhall Cross.

TfL and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC) share an aspiration to remove Earl's Court Gyratory and are working together to identify a suitable solution.

TfL and RBKC have previously investigated the feasibility and impacts of restoring the Earls Court Gyratory to two way operation. The study showed that removal of the Gyratory would be possible, but would require the compulsory purchase of some properties and changes to parking and loading arrangements. The Borough is currently considering these potential changes.
