I’m afraid only the LFB records data to this level of detail, the MPS and London Ambulance Service does not hold this information.

There are different types of public call boxes in London, those provided by BT and others available in the street and, those with more limited access, such as hospitals, hostels and shops. The LFB mobilising system captures both types.

 In the financial year 2013/14, the LFB received 179,695 emergency (including 999) calls. From the information available, 2,118 of these calls were from public call boxes, which represents 1.2 per cent of all emergency calls.
