The MPS is currently engaged in setting up an external reporting system for MPS employees.

If a police officer wishes to anonymously report wrongdoing they are able to do so through the Right Line telephone number Ext: 65599, as well as electronically through Right Line On-Line.

Right Line On-Line does not have a dedicated email but is a simple to use, secure application that allocates a personal postbox to allow 2-way communication between the correspondent, whilst at all times maintaining anonymity. All contact details are readily available to MPS staff through MPS intranet system.

MOPAC has taken part in the national review of whistleblowing recently announced by the Home Secretary. There are plans to standardise the whistleblowing procedures for all police forces in England and Wales.
