Does the decision not to incorporate the London Fire Brigade's electric charging points into the wider Source London network - prohibited under the terms of the Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV) grant - represent a missed opportunity to build a strong and easily recognisable brand for London's charging point network? Will you be raising this case with the OLEV, and what is your overall vision for the future of the Source London network?

Transport for London and London Fire Brigade (LFB) held preliminary discussions regarding the possibility of including new LFB electric vehicle chargepoints within the Source London scheme, however the majority of chargepoints being installed by LFB are private chargepoints for use by LFB staff and fleet cars only.  It would therefore not be possible to include these chargepoints within Source London, which is a publicly accessible scheme.

Since 1 September, the Source London scheme is being run by IER Bolloré.  IER are looking to expand the chargepoint network to 6,000 by 2018 to meet the growing needs of electric vehicle drivers.
