The review of the local policing model (LPM) is being conducted in a number of ways.

An overview of MPS internal evaluation processes and reviews since LPM implementation will be presented at the Police and Crime Committee in July.

My Deputy Mayor, Stephen Greenhalgh, and Assistant Commissioner King will also be continuing their local visits to the second tranche of boroughs, starting in September, to hear views from local communities about the roll out of the LPM.

The MOPAC Evidence and Insight Team is also conducting an evaluation, which is scheduled to report findings in January 2015. This plans to consult wider communities, including Independent Advisory Groups and neighbourhood panels, to evaluate local policing from a community perspective.
