Members of the London Enterprise Panel (LEP) regularly meet with London's businesses to discuss London's economic development priorities and a summary of these meetings is published as part of the reporting for the quarterly meetings of the LEP. In addition, the LEP holds sub-regional events with businesses and other stakeholders, the most recent of which attracted over 70 attendees with another four events planned for June and July 2014.

In addition, the LEP is currently developing an Economic Development Plan (EDP) for London in partnership with business membership organisation London First. This will identify the areas that best deliver jobs and long-term economic growth. A substantial consultation exercise is underway and this has involved meeting with approximately 150 businesses so far with many more planned over the summer in order to both form the fact base and ensure that there is support for the final EDP. This has been complemented by meetings with other organisations including trade associations, governments (central and local), think tanks, the education sector, trade unions and other local enterprise partnerships. Please see Appendix A for a detailed list of those businesses who have contributed to date.

The LEP will be engaging with the London Assembly ahead of publication of the Plan later in 2014.
