In light of reports of a chronic shortage of beds for mental health patients in the NHS in London, requiring the extensive use of private sector beds and even bed and breakfasts to accommodate patients, what are you doing to help address this shortfall?

It is not part of my remit as Mayor to directly address NHS bed allocation.  However,

I recently published the report, London Mental Health: The invisible costs of mental ill health, to continue raising awareness of the burden of mental illness within London. The London Health Board is working to improve the wellbeing and resilience of the London population.
