As part of developing the Super Connected Cities Voucher Scheme, which allows SMEs and charities to claim up to £3,000 for faster broadband, my team have raised the particular issue of Rotherhithe's connectivity with Broadband Delivery UK, who are responsible for managing the Urban Broadband fund on behalf of the Department for Culture, Media and Sport.

The GLA will also this year, be publishing the Long Term Infrastructure Investment Plan, which will include a section on broadband infrastructure, and how best to remove barriers for future broadband connectivity. They will be consulting widely as to how best to address areas of no or slow connectivity for both business and residential access across all of London.
