Question

To what extent was the GLA and/or TfL consulted about the Government's decision to increase commercial flights at RAF Northolt? If so, do you know how many more commercial flights a year residents should expect to see?

While I understand there was local consultation, including with LB Hillingdon Council, TfL and the GLA were not involved in the consultation and assessment process, despite previous Ministerial commitments that any changes in airfield use would be subject to thorough consultation.

I understand that the decision permits Northolt to accommodate 5,000 additional commercial air traffic movements (flights) per year.
