To my knowledge, no water companies have used the Green Procurement Code to consider water risks. The Code was closed in November 2013 when the contract with supplier expired. It was decided not to re-issue the contract for tender as it was felt that a) the Code had achieved its intention of raising environmental standards, as demonstrated by the fact that most contractors were routinely exceeding its targets; and b) without LDA funding to encourage Local Authorities / companies to be members, membership had fallen to unsustainable levels.
