Many dangerous junctions are not being dealt with as part of your Better Junctions plans, due to a lack of funding. Can you confirm that TfL have outline plans for major improvement to the following key junctions on existing superhighways, but these will not be progressed in the 10 year TfL business plan?

CS2-Mile end-Grove Road - Burdett Road

CS8-Vauxhall Bridge north- Grosvenor Road - Millbank

CS7-Kennington Road - Kennington Junction

CS3-Cable Street

CS8-Battersea Park Road -Latchmere Road

CS7-Marshalsea Road-Southwark Bridge Road

CS3-Horseferry Road

CS3-Cable Street

The Better Junctions programme has been refocused to tackle 33 of the worst performing junctions and gyratories across London. However, TfL will also make improvements at other key junctions across London through other infrastructure programmes, including new and improved Cycle Superhighways, Major Projects, and the annual TLRN Regional Improvement Programme.

TfL remains fully committed to reviewing and making appropriate improvements at all of the original 100 Better Junctions locations, and funding has been allocated within the TfL Business Plan for this work. For example, all of the locations listed in this question will be looked at as part of the upgrade of the existing Barclays Cycle Superhighways.
