We work closely with King's College London on the development of the London Atmospheric Emissions Inventory (LAEI). While this does not currently include specific data on wood burning stoves this will be included in the next version to be published in 2015.

Nearly all London boroughs have declared Smoke Control Zones. These require the use of exempt appliances and fuels, including for wood burning stoves. Further information is available here: http://smokecontrol.defra.gov.uk/ Enforcement is a matter for the boroughs rather than the GLA.
