TfL regularly reviews new national and international research findings on air quality and regularly measures dust levels in the underground sections of its infrastructure, using the Health and Safety Executive respirable dust measures. The following have been reviewed since 1 January 2012: 

       University of Southampton Faculty of Medicine - discussions with its research team on air quality research carried out on air quality on European metros

       City of Stockholm/Stockholm University review of  particulate material in the metro system and its health effects.
