Question

The 2013 London's Poverty Profile found the number of private rented sector tenants living in poverty is 460,000 higher now when compared to a decade ago. 39% of private rented sector tenants now live in poverty, a figure higher than any other housing tenure in London. What are you doing to alleviate this cost of living crisis in the private rented sector?

The best solution to address market rents is to encourage more supply in the sector.
