I am sure you will agree that all London Underground staff are entitled to be treated with respect in making the personal decision about whether to vote for or take part in strike action.

Some LU staff members were upset by text messages, social media and other forms of communication.  This included leaflets which misrepresented both the impact that the proposals will have on individuals jobs and also the impact that taking or not taking strike action might have. The leaflets also referred to staff who would work during the strike in a derogatory manner. In addition there were also a small number of incidents during the strike where staff felt their personal safety was threatened.
