According to research from YouGov and Stonewall, one in ten lesbians and bisexual women expect to experience homophobia from sports officials. That rises to one in five gay and bisexual men. What steps have you taken to make sure that your Legacy Skills Investment Programme trains officials in the importance of stamping out homophobia in sport?

All qualifications awarded through my Sports Skills Fund were nationally accredited qualifications, the awarding of which was coordinated by The National Skills Academy for Sport and Active Leisure.

All qualifications awarded by National Governing Bodies of Sport are Sport England affiliated and I am fully supportive of Sport England's work with partner organisations, such as Pride Sports, to break down barriers faced by the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender community.

The programme has trained up 13,000 individuals as coaches, volunteers or officials in a range of sports across London.
