I do not see that there is any conflict of interest. My role in the Mount Pleasant Sorting Office scheme is as the local planning authority and requires me to assess the applications against the London Plan and local policies.

The value of the Clerkenwell Fire Station is not connected to these planning applications and will not form part of my consideration of the planning merits of the redevelopment of Mount Pleasant.
