The Further Alterations to the London Plan propose Crystal Palace as a Strategic Outer London Development Centre because of its potential to provide a strategically significant new cultural destination in South London, drawing on the extraordinary history and character of the site, and restoration of the landscaping in the park.

I will be chairing an advisory board which will steer the project forward and ensure the plans are of the highest quality, sympathetic to this much-loved heritage site, whilst fit for 21st century needs.
