Question

A constituent has complained that many properties listed on First Steps have minimum income requirements that aren't specified up front on the web site. At the time of writing, fewer than a third of one bed homes across London specified a minimum income, though several listings mentioned that such requirements do exist. Will you ensure that all homes with minimum income requirements specify this up front, to save constituents from wasting time following up homes they will not be allowed to buy?

The GLA does not set minimum household income thresholds for First Steps. In instances where the local planning authority has set these limitations, housing providers are required to ensure they are reflected in their property advert.
