Old Oak Common is to be transformed over the next 20 to 30 years with the arrival of HS2, Crossrail and potentially the London Overground. Its Opportunity Area status is necessary to ensure that a strategic approach is taken by the relevant bodies to plan for its regeneration.  This will include a strategy to ensure that existing residents can benefit as much as possible from the new development.

In June 2013, the GLA held a public consultation on a Vision Plan for Old Oak and a link to this plan is included below. Over the course of the next two years there will be more detailed public consultation on these plans and local people will have the opportunity to contribute. I have asked my planning team to provide you with a briefing.
