Why does Transport for London not publish a disclosure log for Freedom of Information requests in the way that such requests to the GLA are published? Will you instruct TfL do begin doing so?

Each year TfL answers around 2,500 requests made under the Freedom of Information Act and the Environmental Information Regulations. It is not a requirement of the legislation, or the Information Commissioner, to publish these replies and I am not convinced that it would be the best use of TfL's resources to commit to their routine publication.

TfL has increased significantly the range and scope of information that is published pro-actively to further improve transparency. That includes information which was previously the subject of frequent FOIs.
